Tatsoft's experience in real-time software development and project delivery is ever evolving side by side with Microsoft's latest technologies. From the earliest versions of DOS, to Extended-DOS systems, as an early adopter of Microsoft Foundations Classes (MFC) and the first release of Visual Studio, in 1996; Marcos Taccolini the CEO & Founder of Tatsoft was one of the very first product designers in the industrial automation market and launched a complete highly functional SCADA and HMI solution based on the Windows CE Operating System..

With the introduction and maturity of the Microsoft .NET Framework, that partnership continues to ever evolve as Tatsoft’s "Flagship Product", FactoryStudio, was completely designed to maximize the potential of .NET; with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft Expression Blend; FactoryStudio is one of the very first Products to bring a complete Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and XAML graphic drawing tool and editor, as well as, a 100% WPF User Interface across the whole product. Tatsoft it is also one of the first companies to embrace Microsoft's Azure concepts and make the FactoryStudio Product available "in the Cloud".

.NET Framework

Imagine the scene when you build a movie theater with Digital Dolby Surround Sound capabilities, but when you select the movie to play; it only has a mono/single output. For the user at the movie theater he/she will not appreciate the true potential of the theater acoustic architecture. The purpose of this analogy is to illustrate that advances that the .NET Framework brings and enables is just starting to be realized, and not completely visible to some users, as most applications were not designed and architected to take advantage of and use the .NET framework. Many applications are still running on top of MFC or Windows32 API calls and some applications were simple conversions; that without being re-architected can't achieve the benefits of the .NET Framework.

Tatsoft is committed to following the path to unlock all the potential of .NET, WPF and other new technologies. Tatsoft's goal is to maximize all the benefits of the new platform; adopting as our motto “No Legacy Code”, and projecting the systems architecture and designing the user interfaces from the very beginning with the new framework foundations and technologies in mind; enabling Tatsoft's valued Customers to take advantage of all these ever evolving technologies; especially in the areas of security.
